Savigny-Les-Beaune 1er cru "Les Serpentières" 2014 - Louis Baisinbert

THE STORY Louis Baisinbert wines were born from the passion of three Burgundy Wine lovers who created a mico-Haute Couturewholesale company with a unique and exclusive focus on quality.

Their approach: select Barrels specific Cuvees from a few of the very best independant Burgundy winemakers. Their wines are presented in innovative bottles with unique design and a label that still respect Burgundian codes and traditions.

A red fine Burgundy wine in Limited Edition 2014 1,200 bottles 100% Pinot Noir The heavy soils and good Southerly exposure guarantee a great finesse to the wine "Les Serpentieres".

Before being called "The Serpentieres" the climate was called "The Serpentine", which refers to a specific kind of snake in Burgundy. Aged 12 to 20 months in French Oak Deep ruby in colour with subtle purple tones.

It is a very elegant wine with aromatic blend of cassis, black raspberries, woodsmoke, gamebird, chocolate and complex soil tones. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and quite plush on the attack, with ripe tannins, fine mid-palate depth and a long, complex and classy finish.
