2012

The 2012 vintage is quite heterogeneous. Let's see together which appellations and regions have stood out.

In Médoc, the Cabernets have not matured well everywhere, the wines do not have a long aging potential, we must favor the dominant Merlot.

In the Graves, the whites are balanced, the sauvignons superb and the reds leaky. The Libournais Merlots are top notch!

In Sauternes the wines are supple and light but to drink quickly.

In Chablis, the wines are tender and balanced, it is the Burgundy sector which is privileged for this year.

Gevrey, Beaune and Chambolle-Musigny are at the top with a very long aging potential. The Meursault and Pulignys are very elegant.

In Champagne, the Pinots Noirs from the Montagne de Reims, Cramants and Chouilly from the Côte des Blancs, stand out.

In the Côtes du Rhones, the whites are complex, the Syrah gourmet, Cornas stands out.
