Overall, the 2016 vintage was a great success throughout France. The greatest one are:

Red: Bordeaux, Burgundy, Rhone, South-West

White: Rhone

Sweet: Bordeaux, Loire, South-West

WUAT's opinion: If you are lucky enough to have a link with this vintage, a birth or an important event, take advantage of it, they will make wonderful wines for aging.
