Champagne Baron de Rothschild - Blanc de Blancs
75 cl - 12.5% Alc vol
40% of reserve wine, 3 years of minimum aging and 6 to nine months of rest after disgorging.
The Rothschild Champagne follow the move upmarket imposed by its competitors. Fortunately for us, Champagnes from serious Houses are more and more qualitative and pleasant as soon as they are available on the market.
We tasted this cuvée in 2019. The structure is pleasant, the bubble is still a little bit too lively. The sugar dosage is in the upper range of brut champagnes. This bottle with fresh notes of lemons, dill and white flowers is aimed at those who wish to discover champagne by starting with "easy" wines.
Enjoyed as an aperitif, as a starter with seafood or as a dessert with a lemon tart for example.
