Champagne André Chemin - Blanc de Noirs by Mark Blast
The story of this collector's cuvée is completely original. Originally these fun and colorful bottles were produced and distributed by.. Ikea, yes yes Ikea the furniture giant.
The brand "Mark Blast" was created from scratch to offer a range of champagnes to IKEA. On the label appears the mention "MA" understand "Auxiliary Brand" or "Buyer Brand". For a few years, champagnes from different producers, including David-Heucq, were therefore released for Ikea under the "Mark Blast" brand. Each time with new colors.
But what about the wine you will tell me? This is a 1er cru champagne produced by the little Maison André Chemin, located on the Montagne de Reims, in Sacy. This house is known for producing champagnes with low sugar content.
We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of these cuvées which, released between 2006 and 2008, are starting to offer nice notes of evolution.
