The Nicolas Potel domaine is a Bourguignon merchant whose model is an example.
Supplies are made from carefully selected grape producers. The winemaking which combines traditional techniques and modern equipment is perfectly mastered. It must be said that Nicolas Potel comes from the family that owned the beautiful estate Domaine de la Pousse d'Or.
The wine is powerful, but very fine and suitable for long aging.
The 2002 vintage was not the easiest to work with, but the wines, rather austere at first, are very pleasant over time.
A great discovery at very good value for money.
A quick but effective decantong is strongly recommended.
