The Château de Beaucastel terroir is marked by the violence of the Rhône. It consists of a bed of marine molasses from the Miocene, covered with small rolled pebbles from the side of the Alps. We find on the estate the thirteen grape varieties of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation: Grenache, Mourvèdre, Syrah, Cinsault, Vaccarèse, Counoise, Terret noir, Muscardin, Clairette, Picpoul, Picardan, Bourboulenc and Roussanne.
All these grape varieties are grown naturally, so that the wine is the perfect expression of the terroir. Beaucastel wines are not filtered, they may have a natural deposit that must be isolated when serving.

Château Larmande - Saint-Emilion
Château Larmande is a 25-hectare wine estate historically classified as Grand Cru of Saint-Émilion. We can find the first traces of its existence in 1569. This makes it one of the oldest Bordeaux wine estates.
It is the neighbor of Château Soutard which also belongs to the same owner, the La Mondiale Grand Cru group.

In 2006, Soutard was bought by the La Mondiale Grands Crus group, which already owned Château Larmande and Château Grand Faurie La Rose, both located in Saint-Emilion. Three years later, La Mondiale acquired the neighboring Cadet-Piola estate and grouped it with that of Soutard.
