We could give you all the technical details of the current vinification and the tasting notes of this Brunello but that would not make any sense insofar as the techniques were not the same in 1979 (no thermoregulated stainless steel tank for example ).
On the other hand, we know that this vintage comes from the Sangiovese grosso grape and that this wine has been aged for 24 months in oak barrels.
The Brunello wines have a very important aging potential thanks to their acidity and their tannin content, especially at this time when the wines were intended to age.
If you've never tasted old Brunello before, now is the time to catch up, you won't be disappointed.
From the opening, the brilliant ruby color with orange reflections and the notes of black tea and ripe cherries will take you on a journey.
