Yellow Chartreuse 2019 - Santa Tecla Limited Edition

This Yellow Chartreuse grading 43% is a special edition produced each year for Santa Tecla. A "Casteller" posing in front of Tarragona Cathedral is depicted on the label. The "Casteller" are the pillars bearing the human pyramids, a symbol of local folklore.

Over time, Santa Tecla evolves like "a little Tarragona", towards notes of Curry and Saffron.

As with other Chartreuses, its composition is kept secret and consists of more than 130 plants and herbs found in the production region of Voiron. Because be careful, contrary to what we can read here and there, this edition is not a Tarragona because the Chartreuse are no longer produced in Spain.

This special edition is intended for the Catalan market, which makes it a difficult product to find.

As with other liqueurs, you can enjoy it today or keep it indefinitely.
