We have great difficulty finding information about this cuvée. We believe that there is a link between Jean Dubois Challon who also owns the Château Bel-Air 1er cru Classé de Saint-Emilion, which has since become Château Belair Monange (a whole program).
It is therefore difficult to understand why this cuvée was produced in 1989 knowing that it is an excellent vintage. Why not produce it under the name Château Bel-Air. If you have any information about this vintage, please let us know.
Other cuvées of a similar style were produced in Saint-Georges-Saint-Emilion. Anyway, we fell in love with these labels which, despite a few stains, are still very well preserved.
