Château Talbot 2003 - Saint-Julien
4th Grand Cru Classé in 1855 Château Talbot is a 110 ha estate in one piece. Talbot is one of the most famous wines of the Médoc. For a century, it has remained a family affair. The estate is recognized for the consistency and quality of its vintages.
If it knows how to be round and flattering in its youth, it is also an excellent wine for aging.
The estate produces three wines:
- Château Talbot: the estate's first wine, aged in barrels for fifteen months
- The Constable of Talbot: second wine from vines younger than the first wine is aged 12 months in barrels
- Le Caillou Blanc: atypical white wine for the Médoc because it comes from Cordier's desire to replant white vines in Saint-Julien, it is aged in barrels for then on lees for nine months We also find in 4th classified grand cru, the famous domains Duhart-Milon, Branaire-Ducru, Marquis de Terme or Prieuré-Lichine
