Collection: Saint-Estephe
Located on the left bank of the Gironde, north of the Médoc, the Saint-Estèphe appellation covers 1,250 hectares on a terroir of gravel on clay subsoils. This unique soil promotes good drainage while retaining enough water to withstand droughts.
The main grape varieties are Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot, producing powerful, tannic wines with exceptional longevity. The 5 Crus classés of 1855, including the famous Château Cos d'Estournel, symbolise the appellation's reputation.
With around 6 million bottles per year, Saint-Estèphe combines structure, aromatic richness (blackcurrant, spices) and great aging potential.
