Collection: Rhone Valley

The Rhone vineyard includes 31 appellations spread over approximately 250 km between Vienne in the north and Avignon in the south. It represents the second largest wine region in France and can be divided into two zones with very different characteristics:

  • Northern area with a cool continental climate, with vineyards on steep hillsides. Kingdom of the Syrah (red), Viognier, Marsanne and Roussanne (white) grape varieties. The wines are often powerful, elegant and marked by spicy and floral notes.
  • Southern Zone: Mediterranean climate, hot and dry, influenced by the Mistral, a powerful wind that cleans the vines. There are many grape varieties (more than 20) Grenache (red and white), Mourvèdre, Syrah, Clairette and Bourboulenc. The wines, often blends, are generous, warm, with notes of ripe fruit, spices and scrubland.
