Collection: Portugal
Port wines, from Portugal’s magnificent Douro Valley, are among the most prestigious and iconic wines in the world. Its rich history and diversity of styles make Port a true icon of Portugal’s wine heritage.
The different styles of Porto:
-
Ruby: Fresh and fruity, Ruby is the youngest style. It retains the color and intense aromas of red fruits thanks to aging in vats or stainless steel to preserve the purity of the fruit.
-
Tawny: Aged in oak barrels, Tawny develops aromas of dried fruits, caramel, nuts and wood, with a characteristic amber color. Tawny with age indication (10, 20, 30 or 40 years) offer an even more refined experience.
-
Colheita: Vintage Port aged in barrels for many years. Each bottle is a unique testimony to the vintage from which it comes, offering complex aromas of rancio, dried fruits and spices.
-
Vintage: From the best years, this Port is bottled after a short aging in barrels. It has an incredible capacity for aging, developing complex and deep aromas over time.
-
White Porto: Made from white grape varieties, it comes in different versions (dry, semi-dry, sweet), perfect for aperitifs or cocktails.
