Collection: Mutated wine, Port, Banyuls, Ratafia and others
These wines are obtained by adding a dose of alcohol to stop fermentation. They are distinguished by their sweet character, their power and their exceptional longevity.
Ports: Originating from the Douro Valley in Portugal. Available in several styles (Ruby, Tawny, Vintage, LBV), they offer a variety of aromas ranging from red fruits to notes of nuts, caramel and chocolate.
Ratafias: Often produced in Champagne and Burgundy, ratafia is a liqueur wine made from a blend of grape must and neutral alcohol. Its profile is sweet and gourmet, with aromas of candied fruit, honey and spices.
Banyuls or Rivesaltes in France also produce fortified wines, called vins doux naturels (VDN)
These fortified wines are wonderfully enjoyed at the end of a meal, with mature cheeses, chocolate desserts or simply as a digestif.
