You like sweet wines and want to discover Hungarian wines made from the Furmint grape variety, it's this way. Tokays are produced from the Tokaj region (and yes, you have to follow) and are among the oldest and most sought-after wines in the world. Vinification with local grape varieties and the presence of botrytis do not make them similar to Sauternes. There, we count the Puttonyos (harvest basket) of noble grains present in the wine. The more there are, the better! The highest value, above 6, is eszencia.
