Collection: Auxey-Duresses
Located in the Côte de Beaune, between Meursault and Monthélie, the Auxey-Duresses appellation (pronounced [os-sé]) covers about 135 hectares, divided into red (Pinot Noir) and white (Chardonnay). Red wines represent about 75% of the production, while whites occupy the remaining 25%. The soils are mainly clay-limestone, perfect for vines, with well-exposed hillsides.
The appellation includes 9 Premiers Crus on an area of approximately 40 hectares, including renowned climats such as Les Duresses, Les Grands Champs, and Climat du Val. The red wines are distinguished by their structure, their aromas of red and black fruits, while the whites offer freshness, minerality, and notes of white fruits and flowers.
