Terroir: This wine comes from three different plots: "climat du Val" and "les Grands Champs" facing south, and "les Bas de Duresses" facing south-east. Clay-limestone soil, stony, shallow and draining.
Location: The plots are located in the commune of Auxey-Duresses (pronounced "Ossé-durez" of nothing). These terroirs are in the extension of Volnay and Monthelie and announce the vineyards of Meursault and Puligny.
Vineyard of 0.74 ha, vines with an average age of 56 years.
Vinification: Grapes destemmed at 50% to balance the fruit and tannic matter. Maceration for 13 days with pumping over. Aged for 16 months in oak barrels, 20% of which are new.
