It covers 1,500 hectares, with a unique terroir composed of deep gravel soils, promoting optimal drainage. This exceptional terroir is ideal for emblematic grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.

Margaux is renowned for being home to an impressive 21 Grands Crus Classés according to the 1855 classification, including the famous Château Margaux.
