Cantenac-Brown 2013 - Margaux
Château Cantenac-Brown was founded over 200 years ago by a Scotsman, John-Lewis Brown.
Its taste for excellence allows it to position itself among the greatest vintages: 3rd grand cru classé 1855
The estate's emblem attests to its Scottish ancestry, as does its stunning Tudor-style castle.
When tasting, although less imposing than previous vintages, this 2013 vintage is not lacking in substance! The color is dark and intense, the nose superb, on spices, coffee, due to the fifteen months spent in barrels, then notes of red fruits with floral and menthol touches are felt. On the palate, the wine is dense and spicy with a beautiful maturity of the grape, the tannins are coated and support a very long finish. An expressive and harmonious wine, a very nice success for the château!
