Collection: Chablis

Located in the north of Burgundy, in the Serein Valley, in a harsh continental climate. The unique subsoil, of marine origin, called Kimmeridgian, is composed of clay and limestone rich in fossils. The Chardonnays produce wines with an often dry, lively style, marked by aromas of white fruits and citrus fruits, an intense minerality and a saline character.

The appellation of 4800Ha divided into four classifications, produces approximately 40 million bottles per year:

  • Petit Chablis (20.5%): fresh and fruity wines, produced on Portland soils.
  • Chablis (65%): the heart of the appellation
  • Chablis Premier Cru (13%): 40 climates (places) classified into 17 main designations, such as Montée de Tonnerre or Vaillons.
  • Chablis Grand Cru (1.5%): only 7 climates, all located on the same south-facing hill, with famous names such as Les Clos, Vaudésir or Bougros
