Collection: Corton-Charlemagne

Corton-Charlemagne, located in the heart of the Côte de Beaune, is one of the most prestigious white Grands Crus of Burgundy. Located in the communes of Aloxe-Corton, Ladoix-Serrigny, and Pernand-Vergelesses, the appellation covers 59.77 hectares, exclusively dedicated to Chardonnay. The marl-limestone soils, exposed mainly to the west and southwest, give the wines their tension and minerality.

This Grand Cru is known for producing powerful and refined white wines, both rich and endowed with great freshness. They are distinguished by complex aromas of citrus, white fruits, honey, white flowers and notes of flint. Their exceptional aging potential allows them to reveal, over time, tertiary aromas such as white truffle or toasted nuances.

The name of the appellation pays homage to the Emperor Charlemagne, who is said to have entrusted these lands to Benedictine monks. The wine produced on these slopes remains a world reference today.
