Domaine Maratray-Dubreuil is an iconic family estate located in Ladoix-Serrigny, Burgundy. The estate operates around fifteen hectares spread over prestigious appellations such as Ladoix, Pernand-Vergelesses, Aloxe-Corton, and especially the grands crus of Corton and Corton-Charlemagne.

Vintage 1994 in Burgundy: 1994 was a relatively difficult year for winemakers in Burgundy, with rainy harvests and rigorous grape selection required to ensure quality. However, exceptional terroirs such as Corton-Charlemagne, combined with experienced producers, produced balanced and elegant wines. These wines, often consumed quickly, are now revealing their ageing potential and have become real treasures for enlightened wine lovers.

Tasting notes:

When we tasted it in December 2024 , this wine showed remarkable freshness, demonstrating perfect conservation and great know-how. Without any trace of oxidation, it was distinguished by subtle aromas of white flowers, candied lemon and fresh hazelnut. On the palate, the structure is perfectly balanced, with a still very lively acidity that brings a superb tension. The finish reveals gourmet notes of lightly toasted brioche and pastry cream, offering a fascinating complexity.
