This is the first wine of Château Giscours. It combines delicacy and finesse to offer you the elegance of a great Margaux. Very consistent, Château Giscours has a gravelly terroir and offers wines that are generally slightly richer and more powerful than many other Margaux properties.

The 2016 vintage has all the qualities of a great Margaux. The weather conditions were optimal with just the right amount of rain, sun and temperature to produce perfectly ripe berries. Giscours announces this vintage as having: "an aromatic brilliance (we don't really know what that means) and a great finesse of tannins".
