Cornas "Cuvée Vieilles Vignes" 2002 - Alain Voge
Cornas "Cuvée Vieilles Vignes" 2002 - Alain Voge
Cornas
Low stock: 1 left
This is the oldest and most famous of Alain Voge's vintages.
This small production comes from old vines over sixty years old. This particularity, linked to the quality of the terroir, gives this Cornas its taste singularity which makes it a highly sought-after wine.
As with many great Syrahs from the northern Rhône Valley, the cultivation is biodynamic, the very "windy" region allows the use of phytosanitary products to be limited.
The vinification, using natural yeasts, "à la Bourguignonne" with very regular punching down and pumping over, makes it an exceptionally fine wine but one made for aging.
You will therefore be able to taste this superb Cornas today or in more than twenty years.
Warning: At least 2 hours in a carafe is COMPULSORY!
