The Cuvée

The cuvée Blanc de Blancs Millésimé 1997 from the Louis Roederer house expresses all the refinement of Chardonnay grown on the chalky terroirs of the Côte des Blancs. Produced from a delicate but promising year, this champagne embodies the elegance and precision that characterize this prestigious house.

This 1997 vintage has not been recently disgorged, thus preserving its original character, making it an absolute rarity. An ideal bottle for collectors and discerning enthusiasts in search of authenticity.

History of the Maison Louis Roederer

Founded in 1776 in Reims, Louis Roederer has built a reputation for excellence thanks to its family independence and visionary approach. Under Louis Roederer's leadership in the 19th century, the house took a decisive turn, notably by acquiring its own vineyards to better control the quality of its grapes.

It was also Louis Roederer who created the legendary Cristal cuvée in 1876, intended for the Russian imperial court. Since then, the house has perpetuated its know-how by producing balanced, elegant and timeless champagnes, expressing the unique character of their terroirs.

Today, the house is run by Frédéric Rouzaud, representing the seventh family generation, and remains one of the last great Champagne houses still independent.
