Presentation of the Cuvée Brut Impérial Vintage
The Brut Impérial Vintage cuvée is a vintage version of the Brut Impérial, emblematic of the house of Moët & Chandon. Produced only in exceptional years, this cuvée reflects the richness and unique character of each vintage while embodying the classic and timeless style of the house.
History of the House of Moët & Chandon
Founded in 1743 by Claude Moët, Moët & Chandon is one of the most emblematic houses of Champagne. Known for its prestigious vintages, notably the famous "Dom Pérignon", the house of Moët has embodied excellence and refinement for over two centuries.
Presentation of the 1990 Vintage
The year 1990 in Champagne was exceptional, thanks to ideal climatic conditions. A cold winter protected the vines, followed by a mild spring and a warm summer, punctuated by light rainfall just before the harvest. This allowed the harvest of perfectly ripe grapes with an excellent balance between acidity and richness, making 1990 one of the greatest vintages of the century for champagnes.
