Owned by Bernard Magrez since 1985, Château Pape Clément has enjoyed remarkable consistency.

The wine is very balanced; the Cabernet brings the power and tannins. The Merlot brings the smoothness and fruitiness. This balance mixed with a significant minerality and acidity allows it to stand the test of time.

This 2006 offers a very good price/pleasure ratio. The year 2006 is not very popular in Bordeaux. Pape Clément has nevertheless produced a very great wine. Ample, dense and fruity without being heavy, it offers a length and an interminable finish.
