Collection: Pomerol
Small in size but immense in its reputation, the Pomerol appellation covers only 800 hectares on the right bank of Bordeaux. No official classification governs this appellation, but its reputation is based on exceptional estates, including the legendary Pétrus, as well as emblematic properties such as Château Le Pin, Lafleur, and Vieux Château Certan.
The Pomerol terroir is composed of varied soils, ranging from clayey gravel to lighter sands, with one particularity: the blue clay present on the Pétrus plateau. Merlot reigns supreme in the blends, offering wines of incredible richness and velvety, with notes of black fruits, truffle and undergrowth. Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon bring structure and freshness.
Pomerol wines are renowned for their accessibility from their youth and their ability to age for several decades, offering incomparable depth and complexity.
