About the bottle and the vintage : Obviously there had to be a gap on the label regarding the vintage. This bottle comes from an extremely well-managed cellar whose cellar book was carefully kept. This is why we know that it is a 1986 vintage. But we cannot tell you 100%. And unlike Bordeaux wines which already willingly wrote the vintages on the corks, the Burgundians could not afford to do so at the time.
