Belle Epoque 1993 - Blanc de Blancs - Champagne Perrier-Jouet

The "Belle Epoque - Fleur de Champagne - Blanc de Blancs" cuvée is the most exclusive of the Perrier-Jouet house, created in 1993 with this bottle. There are only a few bottles left in the world, this one being currently the only one available.

The aim of this 100% Chardonnay vintage was to return to the original style of the Perrier-Jouet house. It was therefore decided to produce this vintage with the two most beautiful plots of the house located in Cramant. These grand cru plots "Bourons-Leroy" and "Bourons du Midi" are among the most beautiful terroirs of Champagne.

This vintage was produced in only 12,000 bottles! Where the total production for the classic Belle Epoque vintage is around 120,000 bottles per year.

This bottle, disgorged in 1999 and dosed at 8g/l, is one of the most beautiful successes of 1993, which is not a legendary vintage. It largely reaches the quality level of the reference, the Cristal vintage.

Notes of citrus jam, peach, brioche and yellow flowers will make you have an unforgettable time.

Wuat's opinion: When we discovered it in the cellar of a great Champagne enthusiast, we thought it was a rosé cuvée. But what a wonderful surprise to discover this extremely rare 1993 blanc de blancs! The color, the level and the excellent storage conditions of this bottle suggest an unforgettable tasting.
