Belle Epoque 2004 - Champagne Perrier-Jouet

Presentation of the Perrier-Jouet House

The Perrier-Jouët estate is one of the most prestigious in Champagne. Founded in 1811, it is located in the town of Epernay, in the heart of the Champagne region. The estate covers 65 hectares of vines spread across the best terroirs of Champagne. The estate is classified as Grand Cru on more than half of its vines, which is a testament to the exceptional quality of its wines. The estate's cellars, dug into the chalk, house thousands of bottles of champagne that age slowly there.

About the vintage

The Belle Epoque cuvée is the emblematic cuvée of the Perrier-Jouët estate. It was created in 1964 and comes from the estate's best terroirs. The Belle Epoque cuvée is a prestigious champagne that has contributed to the estate's reputation. The cuvée is made from grapes exclusively from a single year's harvest, making it a vintage champagne. The Belle Epoque cuvée is aged for at least six years in the estate's cellars.
