Chateau Beychevelle 1988 - Saint-Julien
The lands of Château Beychevelle extend over 250 ha, including 90 ha of vines.
The vineyard is composed of the four typical Médoc grape varieties: 52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot. The vines are 30 years old on average.
Château Beychevelle works its vines using sustainable farming methods, and even has part of the vineyard in organic farming.
Its wines reflect the elegance and finesse of the Saint-Julien terroirs. Châteaux Beychevelle comes from the best plots of the vineyard.
1988 is for us the most beautiful success of the château, this wine is marvelous in every way and does not seem to age.
So we advise you to simply open it and enjoy it over time.
Tasting notes: Intense, fruity and spicy nose. Both powerful and velvety, it is generous in the mouth. A very balanced wine.
