THE Grand Vin of Château Beychevelle. The second being the Amiral de Beychevelle.

The summer offered very good climatic conditions to the vines, but the drought slowed down the ripening, then a period of rain at the end of September finally gave new vigor to the suffering vines. The harvest was therefore very good and the grapes of good quality thanks to meticulous work in the vineyard and during the harvest.

The Merlots give a very beautiful fruit, pure and clean, better than 2011. The Cabernets are fine with a beautiful natural fruitiness, the tannins are elegant.

The 2012 vintage is ultimately elegant and fruity with fine, silky tannins, giving an attractive wine, on the level of vintages such as 2008 and 2011.

The magnum is the ideal format for aging in the cellar but also the perfect format for sharing at large tables. In short, this Château Beychevelle has it all!
