Burgundy 1998 - Domaine LeJeune
Burgundy 1998 - Domaine LeJeune
Burgundy
Low stock: 1 left
The LeJeune estate, located in Pommard, has 7 hectares of vines. The estate's winery was completely redone in 1992.
This Bourgogne Pinot Noir vintage from the LeJeune estate is the estate's "flagship" wine. A favorite of the Hachette wine guide, this 1998 vintage should still live up to its promises more than twenty years later. This bottle is aimed at an audience of lovers of old wines.
Aged for 12 months in 228-litre barrels (of course we are in Burgundy) including 5% new barrels.
Tasting advice: Open and pour directly into large glasses, leave to breathe for half an hour before tasting.
