About the estate: Created in 1965 by Pierre Duband, the estate initially exploited its vines by selling the grapes to the trade. It was in 1991 that David Duband took over the vineyard of only 1.5 hectares and began its expansion. Little by little the estate expanded, adding magnificent terroirs to its vineyard. In 2006 he took over the vines of the famous Truchot estate comprising 7 hectares including the grand crus of Clos de la Roche and Charmes Chambertin among others.
About the vintage : This 1er cru les Gruenchers comes from a plot of old vines over 40 years old facing south-east. After a manual harvest and precise sorting, the bunches are vinified at 80% in whole harvest (with the raffle to bring structure and a diversification of tannins). The wine is aged 14 months in barrels (40% new barrels, 60% barrels between 1 and three years old). Bottling is done without filtration or fining.
