The Marchand Frères estate, located in Morey-Saint-Denis, produces only 800 bottles per year of this Grand Cru.

It must be said that with an average age of the vines of 55 years and a yield of 35 Hl per hectare, it is not easy to satisfy all the demand.

The wine is concentrated and powerful with aromas of black fruits, spices and toasted wood.

The 2014 vintage is not the most powerful of the decade but will still require a few more years of aging or a long decanting period before being tasted.
