Chateau Camensac 2000 - Haut-Médoc

A very typical Médoc wine thanks to its high proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon. Powerful, full-bodied and woody tannic. It has significant aging potential.

The 2000 vintage is one of the most successful for this château which, in a blind tasting, could outclass much more highly rated references.

"The color is an intense and dark red. The nose is very expressive. It presents aromas of fruits, such as prune and cherry, to which are added scents of white flowers and a delicately toasted touch upon aeration. Sculpted for a great future, this wine immediately imposes its powerful structure with tight tannins that remain firm for some time. Very persistent, it leaves a thirst-quenching and sappy sensation."
