Chateau de Sales 1989 - Pomerol

Built in the 17th century, the Château de Sales has been passed down in the family for 500 years.

It is the largest estate in Pomerol with its 47.6 ha.

Always well balanced and of very consistent quality, Château de Sales is a true Pomerol with a recognizable style.

Although it is less opulent than its famous neighbours (Petrus, Le Pin etc) it is far from being without character.

The 1989 vintage is a success in Pomerol and for many Bordeaux Château, the wine is tannic and rich, its style differs a little from the house's habits. Its tannins are very present, perfectly melted.

A decanting is not necessary. We advise you to simply pour it into large glasses and let it breathe for a quarter of an hour before tasting it.
