Château Cheval Blanc is a kind of myth, whether in cinema or in the collective imagination, the simple fact of knowing that we are about to taste a bottle provokes a sweet emotion.
Owned by the Arnaud Family (LVMH), this former 1er Grand Cru Classé A, which voluntarily left the classification in 2021, is particularly avant-garde, particularly in the vineyard. The vineyard is composed of 52% Cabernet Franc, 43% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon.
But the winery, with its ultra-modern architecture, is not to be outdone. Go take a look at the Château Cheval Blanc website, which is particularly comprehensive and readable.
J. Robinson gave it a score of 19/20, finding this 1990 vintage of Cheval Blanc "rich and unctuous, particularly appetizing" adding that "this wine has been magnificent all its life"
For RP, who gives it 98/100, it is on the way to becoming the vintage he prefers on this estate.
And you? What do you think? It's time to form your opinion on this wine that promises to be magnificent!
