Château Clerc-Milon 1988 - Pauillac
Tasting notes August 2020: After an hour in a carafe. As soon as it opens, the aroma is explosive, we're not going to lie, it smells like a pony, a stable and a barnyard. This wine is not here to flatter us! Shortly after, these aromas, which are not necessarily pleasant for everyone, have calmed down. In the glass, the wine is clear, with amber edges and a moderate halo. Nose of lead pencil, blackcurrant, saddle leather and forest floor. On the palate, the tannins are completely melted and offer a very silky structure. The aromas of black fruits and cedar dominate. Deep flavors with a long and sweet finish.
This bottle offers exceptional value for money in the purest Pauillac style.
