Clos de la Roche 1988 - Gérard Raphet, son of Jean Raphet
Domaine Jean Raphet is a sublime Burgundy estate that ranks among the best. The bottles are in high demand and thus rare on the market.
The estate is made up of 12 hectares of vines aged 35 years on average and predominantly Pinot Noir (less than 1 hectare of Aligoté).
It is extremely famous for its Charmes-Chambertin, Clos de la Roche and Clos de Bèze.
At WUAT, we managed to get hold of a sublime Clos de la Roche from 1988, a very good vintage for Burgundy reds!
With austere tannins at the time, these wines gain in harmony with the years to come and are endowed with sublime aging potential.
Don't miss out!
