This is THE great vintage from the Taittinger house. Those who have already tasted it will be able to tell you that the Comtes are not a "marketing" and overrated vintage. Only 35 vintages have been produced since the first vintage in 1952. Many of them, highly sought after, are now impossible to find or unaffordable.

Made from the best Chardonnay vintages from the Côte des Blancs, this cuvée has benefited from all the attention of Maison Taittinger to offer you a Champagne that remains in the memory of tasters.

About the 2006 vintage : Mostly warm, the Chardonnays are ripe, fine and balanced. The nose presents notes of citrus and white flowers. The palate is powerful, fresh and extremely complex, offering an aromatic diversity of a rare level. This vintage is particularly successful for this great Taittinger cuvée. It can be enjoyed today after a few minutes of opening or in several decades.
