What an emotion to have in our hands this precious bottle which has, it must be said, stood the test of time rather well!

The 1976 vintage was the first harvest bottled by Joseph Jamet. Today, Jean-Paul Jamet has succeeded his father at the head of the estate, alongside his wife Corinne and his son Loïc. This estate does things "the old-fashioned way" and it does them well. This is why its vintages are difficult to access on the market.

This Côte-Brune vintage is the estate's only single-plot selection. Made from a whole Syrah harvest, never destemmed, it is a complex wine that expresses the typicality of this place.
This is an extremely rare vintage.

As for the 1978 vintage, it is simply one of the 3 greatest vintages of the 20th century.
