Presentation of the Estate

The Flechas de los Andes estate is located at an altitude of 1,100 meters, at the foot of the Andes mountain range, 120 km south of Mendoza, Argentina. It was founded by Benjamin de Rothschild and Laurent Dassault, who were passionate about the Argentine terroir. The vineyard covers 100 hectares, with a predominance of Malbec, the country's emblematic grape variety.

Presentation of the Cuvée and the Appellation

• Appellation : Mendoza, located at the foot of the Andes, is the largest wine region in Argentina. Its dry and sunny climate, with alluvial and sandy soils, favors rich and balanced wines.
• Vinification : Blend of Malbec and Cabernet Franc , from a rigorous selection of the best plots. The harvest is carried out by hand. The wine is aged for 18 months in new French oak barrels.
• Tasting notes from December 2024 by your servants: A surprisingly easy-drinking wine, balanced and without excessive heaviness. Expressive nose of black fruits and spices. Supple palate with a beautiful freshness and melted tannins. A great discovery for a New World wine.

Presentation of the 2014 Vintage

The 2014 vintage in Argentina was a mixed bag. A cold winter slowed flowering, but the dry, warm summer allowed for optimal ripening. This year's wines display beautiful concentration and a good balance between freshness and maturity.
