Presentation of Maison Mumm

Founded in 1827, the GH Mumm house is renowned for its unique style, dominated by Pinot Noir, offering powerful and structured champagnes. The Grand Cordon cuvée is distinguished by its precision and finesse, and embodies the house's historical know-how.

Presentation of the Cuvée and the Appellation

The Champagne appellation is based on a terroir of chalk and limestone, favoring wines with great minerality and excellent aging potential.

The Mumm Grand Cordon 1985 is a blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier, selected from the best vintages. Aged for several years in the cellar, this champagne reveals complex aromas of brioche, dried fruits and honey, with a beautiful liveliness on the palate and a long mineral finish.

📌 Mumm's vintage champagnes are renowned for their ability to age beautifully.

Presentation of the 1985 Vintage

The 1985 vintage in Champagne is excellent, with a hot summer allowing ideal ripening of the grapes. The wines are rich, balanced and have a nice acidity, offering a good capacity for aging.
