GRAND-PUY DUCASSE 1991 - PAUILLAC

5th Grand Cru classified in 1855. 38 ha estate whose reputation and quality have continued to grow since 1990. The Château is now owned by Crédit Agricole.

Aged for 18 to 24 months depending on the vintage in oak barrels, one third of which are new.

There's no point in lying to ourselves, the 1991 vintage is not the vintage of the century in Pauillac, far from it. But you don't choose your year of birth.

Fortunately here, the blend is a classic but very effective Cabernet Sauvignon / Merlot with a long aging. This great Puy Ducasse is therefore "solid" and can afford to age for several years.
