Château Haut-Brion 1993 - Pessac-Léognan
Are you looking for a legendary wine? Then you will not be disappointed with Château Haut-Brion. If you have to choose a 1993 vintage among the 5 first classified growths, this is the bottle you need.
The wines of Haut-Brion are of exceptional quality with a very high aging potential. The estate is always at the forefront of innovation whether in the vineyard or in the cellar.
"A great wine is a wine that is remembered" is the motto at Château Haut-Brion. There is no doubt that the mission has been fully accomplished for the oldest wine estate in the Pessac region with an international reputation.
The 1993 vintage was very complicated for the Médoc wines because of the heavy rains that fell during the harvest. The Graves, which includes Haut-Brion, were less affected because the harvests were earlier. This 1993 vintage of Haut-Brion is therefore one of the most successful of the vintage with 90 points. Concentrated and powerful, it offers a tertiary aroma of mushrooms, humus and undergrowth and has good aging potential.
NB: As is often the case with Haut-Brion at this time, the ink on the label has disappeared. But the level and condition of the cork indicate excellent aging condition.
