Château Haut-Brion 1994 - Pessac-Léognan
Are you looking for a legendary wine? Then you will not be disappointed with Château Haut-Brion. If you have to choose a 1994 vintage among the 5 first classified growths, this may be the bottle you need.
The wines of Haut-Brion are of exceptional quality with a very high aging potential. The estate is always at the forefront of innovation whether in the vineyard or in the cellar.
"A great wine is a wine that is remembered" is the motto at Château Haut-Brion. There is no doubt that the mission has been fully accomplished for the oldest wine estate in the Pessac region with an international reputation.
The 1994 vintage is similar in many ways to the 1993 vintage: In the Médocs, heavy rains fell during the harvest. The Graves, which includes Haut-Brion, were less affected because the harvests were earlier. This 1994 vintage of Haut-Brion is therefore one of the most successful of the vintage with 92-94 points. Concentrated and powerful, it offers a tertiary aroma of truffles, dried herbs, liquorice and blackberries.
NB: Oh miracle, the ink held on this label. However, other Haut-Brion from the same period and coming from the same cellar were not so lucky. The level and condition of the cork testify to an excellent aging condition.
