Hermitage Rouge 2000 - Tardieu-Laurent
Presentation of the Tardieu house - Laurent
The Tardieu - Laurent house was born in 1996 from the cooperation between Michel Tardieu, a lover of Rhone wines, and Dominique Laurent, a quality merchant producing great Burgundy wines. Today, the Laurent-Tardieu house offers a wide range of the best vintages from the entire Rhone Valley, in white and red, and some wines from the south of France, including Bandol.
Presentation of the Hermitage 2000
Blend of Petite Syrah and Syrah from three terroirs: Beaumes, Diognières and Greffieux.
Tasting notes February 2023:
Bottle from a Swiss cellar of a great lover of Rhone and Burgundy wines. Perfect level, the cork and capsule show a high level of humidity during storage (which is not to displease us).
The first nose is very fine and delicate with notes of light spices and cedar wood suggesting a fresh mouth. And it is the case, the acidity holds this wine well whose tannins are perfectly melted. It offers mineral and floral aromas. A wine that falls into the category of evolved wines and which will require decanting for at least two hours before being tasted. It will pair perfectly with a rich dish that it will lighten thanks to its impressive acidity.
